My today’s story on Cover Drive is really very near to my heart, this is concerning to my life’s First Cricket Coach- Mr. Ranjit Mehra- A Well Known Left Arm Spinner from Delhi- who has coach me  on  basic Cricketing skills during my earlier childhood days , I have had a very humble background coming from Middle Class Family of Delhi, where father was the only Earning Member, I use to Study at Govt School at Jheel khuranja, which was one of the most Famous School in Delhi during 80’s due to their Performance is Sports and Academics as well, in East Delhi.

when I was just 14 years old Boy, learning my initial tricks of the game, this School was also famous for the Coach too, who was other then Mr. A. N. Sharma– who happens to be  Coach of Indian Cricket Legend Virender Sehwag, we were lucky to being trained by

Mr. A N Sharma, I have huge respect for him, he has been so phenomenon on teaching us basics of the game.. Kudos to Sharma Sir, I wish him long life.

Now coming back to my Story, I remember, First I saw my First Coach Ranjit Mehra A Quality Left Arm Spinner & decent Batter -those days, he was our  Paaji , as he was in his late 20’s while he was training us, without taking any monies  From us, I remember those days , we were is East Delhi- Gandhi Nagar, Ranjit Paaji also use to live there,( he also coming from Middle Class background)  he had started a Club with the name G N Kolts- Gandhi Nagar Colts, that’s the place I met few of my Childhood Buddies- Naved Alam- ( Those days he was quite quick as a Bolwer, with lack of Opportunities those days – he also did not play more then DDCA League )  I am in touch with till date , what a Fine human being he is, today  he is a respected Umpire in Delhi- Sanjay puri, Moh Shahid – Radhey Shyam ( what a Classy Batsman – he was those days).

We’re the Students of Ranjit Paaji, We use to reach on the Ram lila Ground early in the morning to Roll the Wicket with Stumps those days, matting wickets were very popular, that too half matting wickets, even the School Zonal matches sometimes were happening on half matting wickets, major. Or bigger tournaments like DDCA Leagues etc to take place on turf Wickets, Delhi Cricket. Was very Different those years.

Jheel khuranja No-1 had one of the best Team of Delhi school, I remember we won the Thumps -up Inter school Tournament too in Kolkata.. which was one of the biggest School tournament those. Years.

Ranjeet paa jee was Very popular. Amonst all our friends, he use to work during the day with some Organisation, (later on  he joined Hindustan Times on Sports Quota  in Dispatch Department) in the evening around 5 or 5: 30, we all were meeting in Ground, there we had net, Paajee used to coach us with batting Bowling and Fielding, he himself was a very good player, he played DDCA League with many Club Teams, those days no of tournaments were popular in Delhi, on Matting very few were there in Turf Wickets.

I remembered, we all use to pool in 2 Rupees each to buy a Ball, Pajee Figured out a shop , which was selling Balls which had some manufacturing defect those balls , he used to purchase on half of the cost due to less availability of Funds, for practice on the nets.

Those were the Golden Days, I wish if in our times Tournaments like IPL or some other league, would had been there, I am sure many Cricketers were played at least some of those prestigious tournaments, as Competition was also very cut. Throat those days, but those were the Golden Days.

I met my Friend Naved Alam , Kishan Sharma, recently in All India Exporters T-20 league in Greater Noida, this was a You Tube Live Event,  where Naved  was the Umpire even Kishan Sharma – Balli Bhai was. The Operations head for the. League  also met Ranjeet paajee after a long time, he had retired  from his job, today he is 65 years of Age, we really cherish our early days of Cricket. But. He is. Still coaching in Arvachin School- Vivek Vihar. As Head Coach, he is stii not retired Cricket has been his First Love, soon ,we will Start a Cricket Academy, this. Will allow us to get. All the Friends together.

Fasco Premier League- Season-II, was a great Cricket Extravaganza where All Leading Exporters of India Participate, this tournament has reached to a Different level, I did the Commentary for the Event along with Rahul ,  Jagrit Anand(Rranji trophy from Delhi , he is an amazing human being & Sports Enterpreuner ) he and Arnab his Partner were managing the league.

Also met Mr. Prince Malik – who is the main brain behind the Fasco Premier League by getting all gthe Exportters of Handicraft under one platform for Cricket and DK amazing Cricketers and great Human beings.

We were delighted with the Presence of West Indies Legend Courtney Walsh and Senior Indian Cricketer Rudra Pratap Singh were Chief Guest.

Very Soon I will be organising a get together with all my Old Cricketing Buddies of 80’s and 90’s — We will call that Get together Series ‘” Golden Boys Bash”

I always feel Once a Cricketer Sportsman for a lifetime, as Cricket has given lot to me in my life too, I am always thankful for the game, though, I have never made it bigger in the game not played for India, I am sure soon, I will working on starting my own Academy or organising a League in order to relive my Dream for Fulfilling my Dream Playing with Stars, before I die.

Thanks to all my Friends and well-wishers for supporting me every inch of the way,

I wish Ranjeet Paajee a Very Happy and long life, Team Time4Star wishes him great days ahead.

Saturn: The Planet of Discipline and Influence on Your Life https://www.time4star.com/saturn-the-planet-of-discipline-and-influence-on-your-life/ https://www.time4star.com/saturn-the-planet-of-discipline-and-influence-on-your-life/#respond Wed, 04 Oct 2023 11:52:10 +0000 https://www.time4star.com/?p=1388

Saturn, known as “Shani or Sanaischara”, as the name suggest is a slow-moving. Astronomically, it is the outermost planet, appearing to be a blue ball with 3 concentric rings and has 9 Moons. Being a slow-moving planet, it takes about 2.5 years to cross one zodiac and approximately 29.5 years to finish a round of Sun. Incidentally, he is the Son of Planet Sun (or Surya Dev).

It signifies (Karaka) discipline, karma, law & order, maturity, older age from many others. The Planet is often considered a planet that brings challenges and lessons of life, Saturn’s slow movement suggests that it takes its time to accomplish its tasks. While it can bring hardships, its ultimate purpose is not to destruct but to teach us like a ‘Strict teacher’

The presence of Saturn in your natal chart doesn’t necessarily mean a denial of success; it often signifies delayed success (as the name Sanaischara suggests) which can be more substantial in the long run.

Saturn’s Influence in Different Houses (Bhavas)

  1. Saturn in the 1st House: Saturn in the first house influences one’s outer personality and health. Individuals with this placement often appear reserved and serious. They are organized, sincere, and strong-minded, showing maturity from a young age.
  2. Saturn in the 2nd House: This placement affects family, wealth, and possessions. It may delay financial stability until the age of 35 but rewards disciplined and hardworking individuals later in life.
  3. Saturn in the 3rd House: In this house, Saturn can restrict communication with siblings but fosters a slow and steady approach to learning and knowledge. Creativity is expressed through discipline.
  4. Saturn in the 4th House: The fourth house deals with family and home. Saturn here may signify a challenging upbringing, difficulty expressing emotions, and conservative family values.
  5. Saturn in the 5th House: This house represents creativity and fun. Saturn here leads to a structured and disciplined approach to life, often at the expense of spontaneity. Fertility and childbirth may pose challenges.
  6. Saturn in the 6th House: The sixth house is linked to work and service to humanity. Saturn encourages a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and logic. However, overworking and lack of creativity may be issues for some.
  7. Saturn in the 7th House: Saturn’s influence in the seventh house relates to marriage, partnerships, and legal matters. It can make individuals responsible and strict in these areas, potentially causing challenges in early marriages.
  8. Saturn in the 8th House: This house deals with shared resources, taxes, and occult matters. Saturn here may bring financial burdens and health issues, which can take time to cure. However, hard work can lead to eventual wealth.
  9. Saturn in the 9th House: The ninth house is associated with spirituality, higher education, and long journeys. Saturn fosters a traditional approach to education and a tendency towards spirituality. Travel is often linked to career advancement.
  10. Saturn in the 10th House: The tenth house represents one’s career and reputation. Saturn encourages ambition and hard work, potentially leading to career success. However, relationships with the father may be strained.
  11. Saturn in the 11th House: The eleventh house signifies wealth and social circles. Saturn here can indicate multiple sources of income or diligent earnings. Social relationships may be challenging if Saturn is poorly aspected.
  12. Saturn in the 12th House: The twelfth house relates to hidden matters, spirituality, and isolation. Saturn encourages solitude and spirituality but can lead to laziness and depression if not well-placed. Success may be found in foreign lands or specific industries.

While I have shared some of the characteristics of placement of Saturn in different bhavas. However, it may not be the best to read a chart singularly on position of a planet, as astrology is a holistic science. Hence, it’s best to consult an adept astrologer for right guidance Top of Form.

HERO Reel & Real Life https://www.time4star.com/hero-reel-real-life/ https://www.time4star.com/hero-reel-real-life/#respond Wed, 20 Sep 2023 09:10:08 +0000 https://www.time4star.com/?p=1355 Hi, friends. Through this column, I talk about my friends, family, or well-wishers. But today’s story is about a person from Bollywood who has been a real inspiration. One, because of his craft as an actor-producer, for which he is being loved by all his fans across the globe. But my today’s Cover Drive Section is dedicated to him, just for a simple fact: he is an amazing human being. During my career so far, I have met many Bollywood stars. Some of them throw tantrums all of the time (without naming them), some are real gems, real-life stars, some reel-life stars only. Today, I am talking about one such real-life star.

This star is different. His simplicity as a person touches hearts, and his truthfulness as a human being is truly inspiring. His persona exudes a different aura, and after meeting him, you realize that real, good-hearted people do exist. He is the most genuinely humble Bollywood star I have ever come across. He is stylish to the core, and his understanding of style is unique and quite distinctive. At the same time, he is one of the rare, genuine human beings in Bollywood, though there are many others still.

“I can go on and on about him, about his genuineness as a person and as a star. He doesn’t behave like one, no tantrums, yet stylish to the core, always a calm and smiling man.

I’ve had the opportunity to meet him many times. Well, you all must be curious by now… who is this amazing personality? Let me catch my breath, as when I talk about him, I go non-stop.

I am truly impressed with his style, persona, and life. He is none other than Mr. Sunil Shetty, Indian actor, film producer, and action hero of Bollywood, who is lovingly called Anna.”

I had the opportunity to meet Anna and spend some time with him during the music release of my friend’s film ‘Desi Katte’ in Delhi. Another one of my favorite directors, and a great human being, is Anand Kumar.

During the music release of ‘Desi Katte,’ along with Anand Bhai, I met Anna. I was so impressed with his great personality. What style, man! His dressing sense and the way he speaks are amazing. Sometimes, I feel he could give many Hollywood stars a run for their money. Given a chance, he would have done wonders in Hollywood too.

Let me come back to the incident during the music release of ‘Desi Katte,’ which was planned in one of the Five Star Hotels’ disc in Delhi. In those days, this disc was very popular amongst partygoers. More importantly, the music of ‘Desi Katte’ was composed by another stalwart musician and singer, Kailash Kher. He was also in Delhi for this music release, another amazing human being. I will write a cover drive on him too.

Now coming back to this story, when Anand Bhai and I received Anna from the airport, we were in the same car. He simply asked where we would be staying and what the plan for the release was. Anand introduced me to Anna and said, ‘My friend Alok arranged the evening settings for the music launch, which will start with a press conference.’ While talking all this, we reached the hotel as mentioned—a decent 5-star hotel, although in those days, none of the Bollywood stars used to stay there due to their service, etc. When we arrived at the hotel, Anna looked at me and said, ‘Oh, you booked this hotel.’ I thought, ‘Ab lagegi Meri’ but he didn’t say anything, just smiled and said, ‘I can understand the budgetary issues, but no worries. Ask them to clean the room once again and spray one more time. Chill, man… Chalta hai. Let us focus on the music release.’ I was relieved. Even during the music launch, he spoke so beautifully. In front of the press, he talked about the way I had managed the whole thing.

It was such an amazing evening. The next morning, while leaving for Mumbai, Anna said, ‘Alok, you are a passionate and honest guy. Keep your passion alive, things will happen for you. All the best.’ He left with an amazing smile and said, ‘Thanks so much… you rock.’ I was so happy. Whenever I met Anna, I always felt so happy and honored. That’s how the real star gave me the real magic to live life with ease. Let me take you through the journey of this amazing Bollywood star.

Born on 11th August 1961, he made his debut in the year 1992 with his first Bollywood film ‘Balwan,’ which was not a hit. However, his acting skills and power-packed performance were noticed in Bollywood circles at that time, and even critics praised his performance.

His best came in the year 1994 with the super hit film ‘Mohra.’ It was then that the entire world realized Sunil Shetty is an actor of class, showcasing amazing acting skills in ‘Mohra.’ Thereafter, he never looked back. His other hits were J.P. Dutta’s ‘Border’ in 1997, ‘Refugee’ in 2000, ‘Qayamat: City Under Threat’ in 2003, and ‘LOC Kargil’ in 2003. These films were not only liked by the audience but also established him as a powerful actor in Bollywood, as well as an action star.

He has acted in more than 80 films, portraying various shades of characters in his acting career, ranging from hero to becoming a villain. Serious, intense to comic characters, all played in style and leaving their mark on the audience each time he faced the camera.

Some of his amazing hits were ‘Hera Pheri’ in 2000, ‘Awara Paagal Deewana’ in 2002, and ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ in 2006. These films have established him as one of the finest actors who can perform comic roles with ease.

Later on, he started his own production company titled ‘Popcorn Motion Pictures.’ Under his production house, he did his first projects: ‘Khel’ in 2003, ‘Rakht’ in 2004, and ‘Bhagam Bhag’ in the year 2006.

He has a knack for fitness. Till date, he remains a dashing, handsome, and athletic man. Being fit all the time comes naturally to him and is his mantra for life. This belief led him to invest in the Pune-based online health and fitness venture named ‘Fittr’ in 2019, with founder Jitendra Chouksey. The venture has since become a highly successful online fitness brand.

Anna also has a great interest in cricket, and he plays it well. This passion afforded him the opportunity to become the captain of Mumbai Heroes in the Celebrity Cricket League in 2018.

Apart from being the owner of a few clubs and restaurants, he has ventured into the luxury furniture and home lifestyle business with his wife Mana Shetty in Mumbai.

Now, let’s take a peek at the awards he has received in his Bollywood journey:

  • Filmfare Award for Best Villain for ‘Dhadkan’ (2001)
  • Zee Cine Award for Best Supporting Actor in ‘Dhadkan’ (2001)
  • GIFA Award for Best Villain in ‘Main Hoon Na’ (2005)
  • Stardust Award for Best Actor for ‘Red Alert: The War Within’

Team Time4Star wishes Anna a very happy life!
